Holy Cow it's Been a Year

CRUFT released about a year ago. Time does, in fact, fly. As we continue forward with things like Samurai Dwarves and some additional projects, it seems a good time to also look back on what we have accomplished. Some highlights worth reflecting on:
We released CRUFT
No small task. Lots of games never see the light of day. CRUFT is a labor of love that made it to the finish line and then some. Next Fest, Early Access, Demo, all that good stuff along the way. We had to read a lot of tea leaves and just make things work.

We grew the game
There's been almost 20 updates to the game since launch, including two new levels and a bunch of additional content. Operating a game live is near and dear to me. You never quite get everything you want into the Day 0 build. Thankfully, release day is really just one milestone. Adding content and value to CRUFT has been awesome.

We went to BostonFig!
CRUFT was a finalist at BostonFIG. A huge honor and a great event. Met lots of cool folks (one of which is working with us right now), got to play a heap of cool games, and stewed in the local indie scene among great peers.

We tightened up the graphics on level 3
We overhauled the art of the game with help from our friend Luke. The game looks dope, has a more unified aesthetic, and even has some animated animals running amok. Lots of brand new items to craft.
Quite a few improvements to UI have found their way into the game over time. CRUFT has a lot to synthesize, and thus we continue to try to make all those recipes digestible. More work on that coming soon to an update near you.

The sun never sets on CRUFT
We translated the game to 7 more languages! Now CRUFT is poppin' off across the globe. It was a big effort, and truly a bit painful here and there, but we did it. It's awesome being able to share CRUFT to a much wider audience.

And we're still going!
The beat goes on. We have an interesting collection UI we're working on for CRUFT. We have a new game about dwarves that mine and fight monsters. We have some prototype work going on as well.
