Kelsey of the Nine (Point Five) Fingers
Finding good people that are willing to help you out is hard. That's why I'm stoked to give a shoutout to NinePointFive who the twitch algorithm surfaced to me while I was scouting for folks that might really like Cruft, and might be willing to play it on their stream. Kelsey, AKA Nine, who has nine and a half fingers thanks to an alligator, hits the perfect intersection of crafty, crazy, and genuine that makes her a great ambassador for your game. It's funny (scary?) how go

Classic Tim, Nourishment at BostonFIG
Today my body aches from demoing CRUFT at Boston Festival of Indie Games, but my heart is nourished! Thank you to all the brave people who gave our game a minute (or 45!) of their time, and endured all my blabbing about it. Also, thank you to all the volunteers who made the event GO! We couldn't believe how helpful and available the event staff were. It was an honor to be picked out of the flood of submitted games and given a table at the digital showcase. You better believe

BostonFIG 2025 Was AWESOME
A nerd in his element. Bliss. One of my favorite photo themes is the candid shot of someone posing for someone else. This one is a winner. This is what it looks like to get your booth all set up with all electrical components working and all mundane materials on site. This is just a few minutes before the doors opened. I'm so relieved. The show went off without a hitch. It was truly an amazing and inspiring event. We got to show off the game to a ton of really awesome gamers

CRUFT @ BostonFIG!
Hey all! Great news! CRUFT got selected for BostonFIG and we're going to be there this Sunday! The hype is real. That's right folks. We'll have a booth set up with the game available to play and we'll also have some cool stuff to give away. BostonFIG is a great opportunity to check out what local game devs have been brewing up. Spending your afternoon walking about and trying out a ton of games is pretty sweet. If you are extremely lucky, you might even get a cross-stitched p

Setting A Release Date
Setting a release date can be a little tough. With just two folks on the team it is not so tough. We're releasing 1.0 of CRUFT on December 18th on Steam. There, that was easy... or was it? Setting the actual date itself isn't the big challenge. Getting the game to a spot where you can confidently say it is ready is the really doozy. We've added a lot in the last few months. Tons of cleanup, re-balancing, better UI, controller configs, lots of QoL stuff. Is it ever enough? Whe

What IS this game!?
I had the pleasure of dropping in on the Indie Game Academy's stream this morning to talk about CRUFT. It's a cool looking program that Willem is running over there, and I could tell from talking to him that he knows things about games. He had some great advice, and I wish we had crossed paths sooner. Check out their first batch of new developers' projects, which have recently been Kickstarted, here . While playing, Willem asked a question that I won't get tired of hearing.

Demo Time - And Tooth Extraction
The empty space where a demo should be. Soon to be remedied. We've been up to a lot here at Go On. We've updated tons of game art, refined UI, balanced the economy endlessly, all kinds of good stuff. And yet, for quite some time there has been a missing piece. You see, we once had a demo way back in the day. That old demo got us a lot of learnings and got us "on the map". It gave us a presence. It took us through the small version of a real release on Steam. And then we kille
