CRUFT @ BostonFIG!

Hey all! Great news!

CRUFT got selected for BostonFIG and we're going to be there this Sunday!

The hype is real.

That's right folks. We'll have a booth set up with the game available to play and we'll also have some cool stuff to give away. BostonFIG is a great opportunity to check out what local game devs have been brewing up. Spending your afternoon walking about and trying out a ton of games is pretty sweet.

If you are extremely lucky, you might even get a cross-stitched piglet pin. Supplies are VERY limited as you might expect. We'll have other cool stuff too!

It's a pretty big honor getting selected. Indie work can be a bit quiet (almost tooooo quiet) from time to time. Getting chosen to show off your work is deeply satisfying. I still remember when I was just getting started making games, looking up to all the folks that were out there just doing it on their own. Having the opportunity to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with a bunch of other crazy indies is just amazing.

So this week is all show prep. The button press is pressing along. Printed materials are materializing. Some stickers are stuck in transit and will hopefully show up soon. So many cables and converters to sort.

And Another Thing

As a reminder, we are also on the cusp of the 1.0 release of CRUFT. Timely that we get invited to do BostonFIG about a week and a half before the 18th. The final build is in really solid shape. When we get back from the show we'll test a ton more, maybe make a few tweaks here and there, but the game is basically just ready. No need for last minute theatrics.

Aaaand Another Thing

Also, we are working on getting a Mac build up on Steam too. Never a dull moment!
